Nora Lustig Awarded for SLA Outstanding Research

Tulane’s School of Liberal Arts hosted its annual Faculty Awards ceremony on May 2, 2012. Nora Lustig, Samuel Z. Stone Professor of Latin American Economics and Associate Research Fellow at the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research, was awarded for outstanding research. Lustig has an exceptional resume with a plethora of published books, articles and chapters, and service on multiple international advisory boards. She is an expert on inequality and poverty with a focus on Latin American countries and her research has affected the policies of many countries. In addition to this award, she recently won the Simon Rodriguez Award for undergraduate teaching in Latin American Economics. Congratulations Professor Lustig!
