Nora Lustig will serve on the Worlds Bank's Commission on Global Poverty

Nora Lustig, the Stone Chair in Latin American Economics and Director of the Commitment to Equity Institute (CEQI) at Tulane University, will serve on The World Bank’s New Commission on Global Poverty. Professor Lustig’s news of the appointment was released on June 22, 2015 on the World Bank’s website. The Commission, lead by 24 leading economists, will “work towards best ways to measure and monitor poverty around the world and help the World Bank Group achieve its twin goals and also track other forms of poverty and deprivation.”
