Keri Libby

Originally from Hilliard, Florida, Keri Libby earned her B.A. in Government from Berry College, minoring in Spanish with a certificate in Latin American Studies. Her interest in Latin America began during an undergraduate study abroad program in Argentina and lengthy backpacking trip throughout Bolivia and Peru. She has served as an English teacher in Guanacaste, Costa Rica and an Americas Program intern at The Carter Center in Atlanta, GA. Her primary research interests include social movements and democratization efforts in Latin America.

Heriberto Cabada

Heriberto Cabada is originally from Miami, Florida. His interest in Latin America is derived from his Cuban heritage and upbringing in Miami, FL. He earned his B.A. in International Relations from Florida International University and taught fourth grade elementary the last three years. His primary research interest will focus on the current and future status of democracy in Cuba, as well the relationship between political institutions and individuals.
